Set of six dining chairs attributed to Afra & Tobia Scarpa, Italy, 1970s. Constructed from solid hardwood with thick cognac saddle leather upholstery. The chairs feature details associated with documented Scarpa designs, including the shaped frame, folded leather construction, perimeter stitching and recessed metal fixing hardware. The materials and construction are characteristic of Scarpa's work. While unmarked, pieces produced for private and architectural projects were often supplied without labels. The leather shows a natural patina.
